While there was an initial wish to find a home for victimized Jews in Russia and other parts of Europe, and there have been many initiatives from other countries, few if any have been truly altruistic or untainted by hidden motives, and are rapidly seen as such by opponents. As succeeded finally in Northern Ireland, a careful humanitarian and objective record of the history needs to be a foundation to bring opposing sides together, as well as a focus on children and the future.
